1) Write an NCIS analysis for the episode - using notes from the screening in class. Make specific, detailed reference to moments in the text using media terminology

Co-owner of a Lonely Heart
Narrative: A girl called April is fighting for her heart back the villain called Corakinus and as they share the same heart the anger within the Shadow kin is shown through the perspective of April. 

Character:
Charlie - alien, gay, shown aspects of hero stereotypes
Ms Quill - alien, helper, sinister, evil, despise people, want to have freedom and is willing to do anything to achieve her goal. However, the group of teenagers always find another resolution to the problem as they think Quill's way of resolving the problem is unnecessary. 
Ram - heroic, reinforces the stereotypes of bravery. Shown as April's Boyfriend. Risks his own life in order to safe other people.
April - aspects of  heroism, princess (Propp's theory), brave: specifically in episode 4. shows her anger   

2) How does Todorov's theory of equilibrium apply to Co-owner of a Lonely Heart? 
It’s starts of with an equilibrium and a disruption occurs and a new equilibrium appears.

3) Applying Propp's character theory, what character roles do each of the main characters in Class fit into? April is shown as the princess in distress as she is fighting back to retain her heart. Ram is shown as the prince who is brave and doesn’t worry about himself and cares for other. In this situation, the princess and prince and fallen in love. And of course, Corakinus is obviously the villain due to his lifestyle and evilness within him when stating specific phrases.

Representations

1) How is gender represented in Class - Co-owner of a Lonely Heart? 
It is equal 2 boys and 3 girls. All together they share a strong emotion of  bravery to fight the violence they face as a team.

2) How is age (e.g. teenagers; older people like teachers or parents) represented in Class - Co-owner of a Lonely Heart? 
The teenagers acting within the episode show them coming of age and can also relate to the audience, making a reference to reality.

3) How is race and ethnicity represented in Class - Co-owner of a Lonely Heart? Are  stereotypes reinforced or subverted?
Three of the teenagers are a white ethnicity, one is Indian, and the other is a black ethnicity.

5) How is disability represented in Class - Co-owner of a Lonely Heart? Why are disabled people generally under-represented in the media and how does Class try to address this?
April’s mother is disabled as she is in a wheelchair however she is shown as a normal person and is also treated as a normal person.
