The times - Representation and industries

 Representation
1) What representation of private schools can be found on the main front page story of the Times?
A representation of the Labour Party at the front page is that they are being criticised and there purposes may be mirrored as the paper seems to be supporting and to be favouring the Conservative party instead of Labour Party.

2) What representation of the Conservative Party can be found in the story at the top of the front page 'Calls for criminal enquiry as top ministers deny security leak'?
An increase of popularity is given to the Conservative party due to the party having many scandals and being criticised so given this fact, this gives a result, this will appeal an older, largely male voters for the conservatives.

3) How are the Royal Family represented in the Times?
In my opinion, they put royal family and related content on there front page, to make their audience catch an eye and also include some arguments with the families and include politics in this.

4) How does the coverage of the Royal Family in the Times contrast with the reporting of the same events in the Daily Mirror?
?

5) How are British people and Muslims represented in the article and sidebar 'Sri Lanka tourists warned of more terror'?
This reinforces the stereotypes of a negative impression.
